After the trial, the face checks online through your phone whether you have bought the unlock code, so it can unlock by itself. It sends only the watch ID and the face name, nothing else. A dress watch face with a real moon in a sunken window. Lunar Aperture is a calm analog dial: deep midnight blue sunburst, applied faceted hour markers and a domed bezel around a recessed moon window at six o'clock. The moon shows tonight's phase in 8 steps, worked out on the watch from the date. No phone, no network. - Faceted hands lit from one side, with a shadow that turns with each hand. - Dauphine or baton hands, gold or silver, and a crimson seconds hand if you like. - Second dial: Onyx black with silver markers. - Date window at 3 o'clock. Optional window at 9 o'clock: weekday, steps, heart rate or battery. - Southern hemisphere view mirrors the moon the way you see it in the sky. - The phase of the moon is shown with realistic moon icons: new moon, crescents, quarters, gibbous and full moon. - AMOLED: pre-rendered dial with soft light and shadow. Colour MIP (fenix, Forerunner, MARQ): its own dithered dial made for 64 colours. - Always-on mode on AMOLED: thin outlines only, shifted every minute, no seconds. Data shown: date, weekday, steps, heart rate, battery (all optional). Missing data appears as "--". Trial: 7 days with everything working, then a reminder (days 8 to 14), a simple screen with the time and your Watch ID (days 15 to 29), and from day 30 a lock screen with a QR code.
