About this face

Standby for a time hack. Before an operation, an orders group or a range serial, someone gives a time hack and everyone syncs watches to the second. Most faces bury the seconds. Time Hack makes them the hero. WHAT'S ON THE FACE • A comet seconds ring: ticks light up as the minute passes, brightest at the glowing head and fading back along the tail • A minute track of dots inside the ring, lit up to the current minute • Big glowing HH:MM, with two-digit seconds and SEC underneath • A hack countdown pill: HACK 16:20:00 T-18s — always know how long to the next top of the minute • An unmistakable top of the minute: the 00 tick is always the accent colour and longest • Hack flash: at :00 the 00 tick doubles and the seconds digits light up for that second • Ring style: Full sweep (default) or Short tail (a six-tick comet runs round) PALETTES Hack (white / orange, default) · Olive · Red · Ice SECONDS — HONEST NOTE On AMOLED watches, seconds show when the screen is awake — Garmin's always-on mode doesn't allow per-second updates, so always-on shows the time in outline plus the 12 o'clock anchor tick. On MIP watches, the seconds ring keeps ticking in sleep mode using a tiny, battery-friendly redraw of one tick per second (the seconds digits and countdown show while the screen is awake; asleep, the pill reads NEXT HACK 16:20:00). SETTINGS Palette · Ring style · Numeric seconds · Hack countdown · Hack flash · 24h / 12h. Palette, ring style and seconds digits can also be changed on the watch.
