About this face

Typographic, multilingual, grid-based. Now with everything else you wanted. **You asked, we listened.** Put whatever you like in the Big Data Slot (free RASTER is weather-only). Three data slots below it. Three different battery icons. Seconds, three ways. Flip the date. Mirror the whole layout. A lighter font weight. Bigger labels. AOD outline. Notifications. Plus lots more colors, data points, and now progress rings. RASTER PRO is the full version of RASTER, the clear Garmin watch face built on a grid: large hours and minutes at the centre, everything else in fixed positions around them. Josef Müller-Brockmann's Rastersysteme, the Swiss typography grids of the 1960s. A Helvetica-inspired typeface, generous size, tight alignment. Everything in RASTER, plus: - Big Data Slot: weather, any data point, a progress ring (steps, intensity minutes, weekly run, weekly bike, recovery, Body Battery), or a seconds ring - Up to three data slots below the time: left, right and an optional middle one. Pick from 20 data points: heart rate, Body Battery, stress, Sleep Score*, Pulse Ox, steps, daily distance, calories, floors climbed, intensity minutes, recovery time, weekly run, weekly bike, VO₂ Max, weather, temperature, UV index, altitude, sunrise/sunset, battery - Battery your way: a bar, dots, icon with percentage, data slot, or off - Seconds: hairline ticks around the edge of the screen, digits beside the minutes, or a ring in the Big Data Slot - 12/24 hour with optional AM/PM - Notifications: a bell in two optional places, with or without the unread count - Flip the date to read top to bottom or bottom to top, or mirror the whole layout for the other wrist - Bold or Light font weight, with matching light icons - 17 accent colours: five classics plus Garmin's own strap colours. - Light Mode and Dark Mode - Larger data labels when you want them - Hold to open: touch and hold a data slot, the battery or the bell to open its app (touchscreen watches only) - Always-On Display (AOD) matched to the main face, with an optional outline time in bold mode - So many languages. Date in the system's own language and format. Available in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Czech, Polish, Portuguese, Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Romanian, Russian, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian and Greek Settings on the watch or in the Garmin Connect app, laid out the same way in both Layouts are drawn per display type, not scaled, so each screen size gets a build tuned for its resolution. For Fenix, Forerunner, Enduro, Venu and MARQ, including Fenix 9, Fenix 8, Forerunner 970, Forerunner 570, Venu 4 and Enduro 4. *Sleep Score requires a watch running Connect IQ 6.0.2 or later. On watches without it, the option is hidden rather than shown empty. Weather, temperature and UV index need a paired phone with the Garmin Connect app. Conditions come from the watch's cached weather and refresh when the watch syncs.
