About this face

Outspoken says the time out loud, in words: SIXTEEN, OH NINE. Your stats curve round the edge, and you choose every one. Outspoken writes the time in big, bold words in the middle of the dial and runs your stats in a curve around the bezel. A 12-hour watch reads FOUR / OH NINE / PM. A 24-hour watch reads SIXTEEN / OH NINE / HOURS. On the hour it reads SIXTEEN / HUNDRED, or FOUR / O'CLOCK. Long times such as TWENTY THREE / THIRTY EIGHT shrink to fit. WHAT'S ON THE FACE - The time in words, in a tall condensed typeface - Top curve: up to 4 stats of your choice - Bottom curve: up to 4 stats of your choice - Middle line under the time: 2 stats of your choice - A weather icon above the time (optional) - Status icons under the middle line: phone connected, alarm set, notifications with a count, Do Not Disturb (optional) CHOOSE EVERY STAT Every slot offers 33 stats, or None: Date (3 styles), temperature, high and low, feels like, chance of rain, wind, humidity, sunrise, sunset, heart rate, resting heart rate, Body Battery, stress, UV index, blood oxygen, respiration, recovery time, VO2 max, training status, steps, steps as a % of goal, calories, distance, floors climbed, active minutes this week, watch battery, battery days left, notifications, altitude, pressure and your next calendar event. If the watch has no reading yet, the slot shows "--". Units follow your watch: °C or °F, km or miles, 12 or 24 hour. AS BIG AS IT CAN BE Outspoken picks the largest text size that fits each line, so fewer stats means bigger numbers. Three on a curve is easy to read at a glance. Four fit too, in a smaller size. WEATHER AND STATUS ICONS The weather icon follows your watch's current conditions: sun, moon, partly cloudy, cloud, rain, storm, snow, fog or wind. It turns to the moon after sunset. Each of the three status slots can show phone connected, alarm set, notifications or Do Not Disturb. An icon that isn't active is either hidden or shown dimmed. You choose. ALWAYS-ON On AMOLED watches the low-power screen shows just the time in dim words, nudged a few pixels each minute to keep the screen burn-in safe. Watches with an always-on memory-in-pixel screen keep the whole face. MAKE IT YOURS On the watch: when choosing or editing the watch face, open Customise. It has a switch for the weather icon, one for the AM / PM / HOURS label and one for dimming inactive icons, then every stat slot and every status slot. Each slot opens a list. In the Connect IQ app: open Outspoken, Settings for the same choices. PRIVACY Everything is worked out on the watch. Outspoken has no internet access, no account and no ads. It only reads data your watch already has: heart rate, steps, Body Battery, weather, sunrise and sunset, notifications and so on.
