About this face

A tiny companion that lives on your real Body Battery, steps and sleep. Pick your little creature: it bounces when you're full of energy, naps on your bedtime, runs with you on runs and gets a party hat when you hit your step goal. It never dies, never nags and is completely free: no trial, no unlock codes, no ads. SIX ORIGINAL COMPANIONS Mochi the rice-cake blob, Pip the chick, Bun the bunny, Ribbit the frog, Boo the friendly ghost and Sprig the sprout. Seven colours each. Pick one and it stays yours. IT REACTS TO YOUR DAY • Bouncy with sparkles when Body Battery is high • Chill and blinking most of the day • Yawning when Body Battery runs low or bedtime is near • Fidgety when stress is high • Running with you when your heart rate or cadence is up • Asleep during your sleep schedule from Garmin Connect, with night colours • Waking up with a dream bubble: up to 3 stars from your Sleep Score (on watches that have it) Moving always wakes it, and you can turn off "Sleep with my schedule" entirely. COLLECT STICKERS, CHANGE OUTFITS Every day you reach your step goal earns a sticker (12 designs) and a party hat. Missed days cost nothing. Seasonal outfits change by themselves: pumpkin hat for Halloween, a beanie in winter, a flower crown in spring, sunglasses in summer. Or choose a bow, scarf, leaf hat, headphones and more. MAKE IT YOURS 12 backgrounds from black and midnight to cream, blush, lilac, mint, sky and peach. Text switches to dark on light backgrounds automatically. Three data spots: Body Battery, steps, battery, heart rate, stress, notifications, calories, active minutes, Sleep Score or stickers collected. Step ring on the bezel (a bar on square watches). KIND TO YOUR BATTERY The companion animates only for a few seconds after you raise your wrist (or turn animation off). No background service, no internet. On AMOLED watches the always-on mode keeps a dim outline of your companion and the time, shifting slightly each minute to protect the screen. Made for Forerunner, Venu, vívoactive, Instinct, fēnix and more, including square and black-and-white screens. SETTINGS In the Connect IQ app on your phone: My Device, Mochi, Settings. Your bedtime comes from Garmin Connect (Sleep settings). Permissions: "Complications" reads Body Battery, stress and Sleep Score; "User profile" reads your sleep schedule. Nothing leaves your watch.
