About this face
A clean analogue dial. Sixty fine ticks run right out to the edge of the screen, a heavier one marks each hour, and the numerals are set in a light geometric sans. The dial darkens gently towards the rim; the hands and the seconds hand are where the colour is. SHOW WHAT YOU WANT Top line and second line: the date, weekday, week number, weather with its high and low, the next sunrise or sunset, or any reading Bottom line: the same choices Two slots at 9 and 3: heart rate, battery, steps, step goal, Body Battery, stress, temperature, chance of rain, calories, distance, floors, active minutes, blood oxygen, respiration, VO2 max, recovery time, battery in days, altitude or notifications Status marks under the bottom line: phone connected, a message waiting, an alarm set, do not disturb. Each shows only while it is true. LAYOUTS Everyday, Fitness, Minimal, Outdoor and Wellness set every zone in one choice. Custom lets you set each yourself. LOOK Ten colourways, each with its own hands and seconds hand: navy, graphite, oxblood, petrol, white, forest, cobalt, hot pink, lemon and sunshine Capsule hands, round at both ends: plain, or with a fine line inlaid along each A seconds hand with a ring on it Four date formats: Fri 24 Oct, 24 October, 24 Oct and Friday 24 October Press and hold a zone to open its glance, where your watch has one. Temperatures, distance and altitude follow your watch's unit settings. In always-on mode the same dial and hands stay lit in dimmed grey, with the minute ticks as fine lines, shifting slightly each minute to protect the AMOLED screen. Settings are in the Connect IQ app on your phone, and on the watch itself: touch and hold the face and choose Customize. Permission: complications, used to read Body Battery, recovery time, VO2 max and sunrise and sunset. Weather comes from your watch's own forecast. Designed for round AMOLED watches.
